Directors Guild of America (DGA), FX Network

In 2025, the landmark FX comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia celebrates its twentieth anniversary since the cult favorite show premiered. To mark the occasion, The Paley Center’s PaleyLive series hosts the acclaimed comedy’s cast and creative team for the Season 17 premiere screening and a panel discussion on the show and its success. The event takes place at The Director’s Guild of America in Los Angeles.

Since its debut in 2005, and with 170 episodes and counting, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia holds the record as the longest-running, live-action comedy series in TV history. The show centers on five friends with big egos and small brains that are the proprietors of an Irish pub in Philadelphia.

Attending the event are Rob McElhenney (“Ronald ‘Mac’ MacDonald” & Executive Producer), Charlie Day (“Charlie Kelly” & Executive Producer), Glenn Howerton (“Dennis Reynolds” & Executive Producer), Kaitlin Olson (“Dee Reynolds”), and Danny DeVito (“Frank Reynolds”).
