On October 9, 2026, during New York Comic-Con, Mattel and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products gave fans a taste of what’s to come from their previously announced global, multi-year licensing agreement for DC’s expansive library of characters. Mattel unveiled a premium Batman collectible at DC’s booth, marking the first product reveal from the anticipated lineup and a new chapter in Mattel and DC’s longstanding partnership. The DC Premium Batman: Hush Rooftop Bat-Signal Diorama Set was made available for pre-order for $100 the same day as the announcement, on the Mattel Creations website.
The DC Premium Batman: Hush Rooftop Bat-Signal Diorama Set is inspired by the legendary Batman: Hush written by Jeph Loeb with art by Jim Lee, an essential Batman story defining the Dark Knight for an entire generation of fans. Featuring a cast of DC Heroes and Super-Villains including Catwoman, The Joker, Superman, Nightwing, Robin, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Huntress, and The Riddler, the story remains one of DC’s most influential comic book arcs.
Bringing the comic artwork to life, the set includes a highly detailed Batman: Hush figure with 34 points of articulation, an oversized wired cape inspired by Batman: Hush’s iconic comic book cover, and interchangeable hands. Batman stands atop a comic-inspired Gotham City rooftop diorama featuring a removable gargoyle and a working water-based fog effect, recreating the atmosphere of the original artwork. The set also includes a functional Bat-Signal that projects onto nearby surfaces, while the premium packaging doubles as a display backdrop, creating a complete tribute to the story.
On January 1, 2027, Mattel hosts a live-stream event on the Mattel Creations website, showcasing the complete Spring 2027 DC Action Figures collection. The virtual event features the entire lineup of adult collectibles, special appearances, and product reveals.
