The 2026 edition of the Urban Action Showcase takes place on Saturday, November 14th at Regal Times Square theaters. The event continues its tradition of celebrating icons of ’70s and ’80s action and martial arts cinema with the addition of martial artist & actor Lu Feng to this year’s guest lineup. Taiwanese-born, Hong Kong-based Lu Feng gained international prominence in 1978 for starring in the iconic Shaw Brothers action movie Five Deadly Venoms, where he played the character “Centipede.” The role earned him and the rest of the cast the collective moniker “Venom Mob.” Feng was part of director Chang Cheh’s ensemble of fourth generation actors, along with Chiang Sheng, Philip Kwok, Lo Mang and Sun Chien.

Feng joins a distinguished list of guests for the event that also includes Dr. Ron Van Clief (The Black Dragon, The Black Dragon’s Revenge, Way of the Black Dragon), Michael Jai White (Spawn, Black Dynamite, Exit Wounds), Vincent Lyn (Operation Condor, Manhattan Midnight, Miracles: The Canton Godfather), Marrese Crump (The Protector 2, Sultan, Welcome to Sudden Death), Robert Samuels (Secret War, Made in Chinatown, The Gambling Ghost, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum), Willie ‘The Bam’ Johnson (WMAC Masters, 1 Out of 100, Loyal Justice), and Dennis McDonald (Bad Boys II, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Bad Boys for Life, upcoming Best Friend).

Founded by actor, martial artist, stuntman and actor Demetrius Angelo, Urban Action Showcase is an action movie festival, vendor expo and awards ceremony that advocates for diversity and honoring the multicultural achievements in the action cinema genre. The 2026 edition takes place at Regal Times Square cinemas in New York City on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
