English indie rock band Glass Animals and Dork Magazine celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band’s second studio album “How To Be A Human Being” in London at The Mildmay Club in Hackney. The event includes a Q&A with Dave Bayley reflecting on creating the album, along with DJ sets, a party, and the exhibition “How To Be A Human Being Official Gallery,” featuring never-before-seen images chronicling the era, as well as exclusive images from the Dork Magazine archives.
“How to Be a Human Being” is the second studio album by Glass Animals. It was released on August 26, 2016 by Wolf Tone and Caroline International in Europe, and Harvest Records in the United States. Each of the eleven songs throughout the album represent a different person on the front cover and their experiences.
The album received good reviews from music critics, who complimented its “sense of wonder” and “immediate impression.” The album was nominated for the 2017 Mercury Prize.
Glass Animals consists of Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer and Joe Seaward.
