Trauma or, Monsters All centers on a writer named Cassandra (Laetitia Hollard), who visits the small Upstate town of Talbot Falls to write a book on George Washington Carver, while working a day job at the local library with her new local friend, Agnes (Aitana Doyle). Their lives change when Cassandra writes an article for the local newspaper exposing the dark history of the town: are there monsters among them? Speculation bubbles into conflict as a werewolf, a vampire and a Frankenstein creation emerge into the light and reveal deep suppressed trauma in the inhabitants of the town. Fessenden blends social commentary with archetypes of horror into a reflection of our times through a gothic lens.

Written and directed by Larry Fessenden, Trauma or, Monsters All also stars Addison Timlin, Alex Hurt, Alex Breaux, Larry Fessenden, John Speredakos, Marc Senter, Micheál Neeson, Joshua Leonard, Barbara Crampton and James Le Gros, with appearances by Emily Bennett and Toby Poser.

Dark Sky Films opens Trauma or, Monsters All at IFC Center in New York City, followed by engagements at Lumiere Cinema at the Music Hall in Beverly Hills, California, Proctors in Schenectady, New York, and Prytania Theatres at Canal Place in New Orleans, Louisiana. The screenings at IFC Center and Lumiere Music Hall feature special cast appearances and a Q&A about the project.
