Widely regarded as one of the greatest anime films of all time, Ghost in the Shell returns to the big screen for its 30th Anniversary in stunning 4K. The film centers on a mysterious computer virus released by a powerful hacker known only as “The Puppet Master,” that spreads across a hyper-connected world, capable of infiltrating human hosts. Elite cybernetic government operative Major Motoko Kusanagi and her partner, who both work on behalf of the Internal Bureau of Investigations, race to uncover the truth before it’s too late.

The award-winning thriller Ghost in the Shell that redefined the genre and inspired generations of filmmakers was directed by Mamoru Oshii based on the original manga by Shirow Masamune. The voice cast includes Atsuko Tanaka, Akio Ôtsuka, Iemasa Kayumi, Kôichi Yamadera, Tamio Ôki, Yutaka Nakano, Tesshô Genda, Kazuhiro Yamaji, Mitsuru Miyamoto, Namaki Masakazu, Shigeru Chiba and Yûji Ueda.
