The Philadelphia Film Society and Reel Nomadic Kung Fu Matinees host the final movie screening of the season, the Bruceploitation classic Challenge of the Tiger (1980). The event includes a series of martial arts Blu-ray raffle giveaways provided by physical media distributor MVD Entertainment Group.

Challenge of the Tiger includes secret agent sexiness, kung fu destruction, international intrigue, flamethrowers – and tennis. An increasingly outrageous collection of situations await two CIA agents – a kung fu master and a suave womanizer – as they track the stolen formula for a super-sterility drug from Spain to Hong Kong. Along the way they battle Neo-Nazi terrorists and a Vietnamese spy ring for its possession.

Co-directed by Bruce Le, Luigi Batzella and Richard Harrison from a script Le co-wrote with Fan Pan, Le, Harrison and Pan also star in Challenge of the Tiger, along with Luigi Batzella, Jeong-lee Hwang, Nadiuska, Brad Harris, May Hong, Tito García, Tao Chiang, Sharon Shira, Bolo Yeung, Josef Laufer and Dick Randall. There are even cameo appearances by Morgan Fairchild, Jane Seymour and Jack Klugman.
