Mutant, in collaboration with Hollywood Records and 20th Century Studios, produce the premiere physical media release of Benjamin Wallfisch’s score to the 2025 animated film Predator: Killer of Killers. Both the vinyl and CD releases feature original artwork by Oliver Barrett and liner notes by film director Dan Trachtenberg. The vinyl edition is pressed on 140gm color vinyl.

Wallfisch had quite the task in scoring Predator: Killer of Killers. Not only did he have to tackle one of the most iconic sci-fi titles in pop culture history, but he had to do so across multiple time periods, locations and genres. A Scandinavian arctic right of passage, a Japanese Feudal revenge plot, and a World War II underdog dogfight – all bookended by an epic battle on the Yautja home planet where the far reaching nature of the Predator finally reveals itself after 30 years of filmmaking.

All the while, Wallfisch nimbly navigates the spirit of each period, their cultural instrumentation, the kinetic nature of each chapter, and the emotional stakes of each battle.
