Supernatural martial arts comedy Kung Fu Deadly has its World Premiere during Fantastic Fest, on September 18, 2026. The event takes place at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar in Austin, Texas.

Social media sensation Steven He headlines Kung Fu Deadly alongside Michael Tient. The pair star as a pair of bumbling exterminators who must put down their poison spray to face an ancient evil bigger than any rat. Kung Fu Deadly also stars Gemma Chua-Tran (Heartbreak High, Netflix’s Gundam), Jason Tobin (Warrior, the Fast and the Furious franchise), Max Huang (Mortal Kombat 1 & 2, Hidden Strike) and Steve Wall (Dune: Part Two, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms).

The two hapless rodent catchers encounter a kung-fu Taoist Guardian pursuing an undead Chinese Jiangshi in the film. Together they uncover family secrets and must embrace their fate to rid Dublin of the supernatural menace, the only way they know how – Extermination.

Kung Fu Deadly is an Ireland/Australia co-production under the Films Co-Production Agreement between the Governments of Australia and Ireland. The film is financed by Fís Éireann / Screen Ireland in association with Parc Entertainment Capital, Screen Queensland, Coimisiún na Meán and Chop Shop Post.
