Troy McIver and Liv Rouse’s Scary Mary issue one has been a popular item over in the Forbidden Planet New York self-published section and the creators are heading to Forbidden Planet to celebrate issue two of the indie comic book series.

Scary Mary is a queer coming-of-age comic about a middle school AV club unraveling a ghost story and facing off against monstrous manifestations of their town’s despicable past. Think John Hughes meets John Carpenter.
