Popular crime series Columbo centered on Los Angeles homicide detective Lieutenant Columbo (Peter Falk), who uses his humble ways and unique demeanor to unravel out even the most well-planned crimes. Columbo originally premiered on NBC Television on September 15, 1971. The series later moved to ABC in 1989, where is ran for nine additional seasons. Columbo continues to run in syndication, most recently on COZI TV.
