After 12 years of effort, Waxwork Records officially announced that they will release an official edition of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Original Motion Picture Score by Tobe Hooper and Wayne Bell. The company made the announcement in style by revealing a Spotify streaming link to the first single from the upcoming soundtrack release.

Widely considered the holy grail of film scores, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Original Motion Picture Score will be remastered from the original raw analog recordings by Wayne Bell at Soundcrafter Studio in Austin, Texas. The soundtrack will be pressed on vinyl and CD, as well as be made available on digital and cassette, all in celebration of the iconic cult classic horror’s 50th Anniversary.

The single ‘Main Title’ marks the very first time hear an official track from the soundtrack score’s release.
