MPI Media Group and Dark Sky Films created a specialty label in 2024 dedicated to preserving the legacy of horror film titles including The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, and The House of the Devil. Called Dark Sky Selects, the label’s first major release is The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 50th Anniversary Chainsaw Edition boxed collector’s set.

The set includes 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions edition of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, a Blu-ray bonus disc, along with an exclusive VHS release featuring the original VHS release artwork. The discs are housed in a replica of the iconic chain saw from the film, which comes in a special numbered box. Opening the chainsaw triggers the sound of Leatherface wielding the chainsaw in the film. The limited edition set also features a 50th Anniversary O-card and bonus content, including The Merchandise of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Restoration of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
