Filmation

Space Academy is an American science fiction television series produced by Filmation that was broadcast Saturday mornings on CBS. The series premiered on September 10, 1977 and ran through December 17 of the same year. Repeats ran on and off until September 1, 1979, with a total of 15 half-hour episodes being produced.

Space Academy centers on the student adventures at an outer space military training school. Created by Allen Ducovny, the show stars Jonathan Harris as Commander Gampu, Brian Tochi as Tee Gar, Eric Greene as Loki, Erika Scheimer as Peepo, Howard Morris as Captain Rampo, George DiCenzo as Roarg, Lawrence Dobkin as Vicron, Don Pedro Colley as Dramon, Dena Dietrich as Marcia Giddings, Dal McKennon as Johnny Sunseed, Paula Wagner as Gina Corey, along with Ty Henderson, Pamelyn Ferdin, Ric Carrott and Maggie Cooper.
