Set over the course of a single fateful night, The Heretiks centers on a disaffected teenage girl who teams up with a renegade witch to protect her little sister from a murderous coven. The murderous sect are determined to use the girl as a human sacrifice in an apocalyptic ritual on Halloween night. Directed by Gregg Bishop, The Heretiks stars Luke Speakman, Ava Mae Seidensticker, Josie Juliette Wert, Isabel Zhou, Tess Williams, Kiera O’Connor, Spencer Brabham, Kimberly Epstein and Leslie Cortes.

The Halloween-set home invasion horror fuses supernatural mayhem, suspense, and old-school practical-effects into what is described as a wild ride. With a script by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, the writers of Hellraiser (2022) and The Night House, The Heretiks is the first production from horror media company Be Afraid Media, which launched in January 2026 with the purchase of horror news website Dread Central.
