Tom Cruise returns as NASCAR driver Cole Trickle and is joined by actress Anne Hathaway, who co-stars as a team owner and engineer in the follow-up to the groundbreaking 1990 stock car racing film. Jonathan Levine (50/50, Warm Bodies, I’m Dying Up Here) directs the film from a script by Will Staples (Without Remorse). The Days of Thunder sequel is filmed for IMAX screens and being released in theaters on June 2, 2028.
