Stranger Things Day
Cultural Events | Nov 6
On November 6, 1983, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) went missing in Hawkins, Indiana. Long after the town gave up the search, his friends kept looking … and discovered a mysterious girl known only by a number: Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). She was alone, hunted, and extremely powerful. Eleven would stop at nothing to help them find their friend.
Fans everywhere celebrate November 6th as Stranger Things Day, a special day to share their love for the world of Stranger Things. But the love has grown so large that fans are not just celebrating on November 6th — they’re celebrating Stranger Season.
Previous celebrations have included a Stranger Things attraction during Six Flags Fright Fest Extreme, which takes place at Six Flags locations across the United States, including Valencia, California, and Jackson Township, New Jersey. In 2024, fans have the chance to attend the Broadway production of Stranger Things: The First Shadow in New York City.
Canon to the show, Stranger Things: The First Shadow is a prequel based on an original story by Stranger Things creators Duffer brothers, Stranger Things writer Kate Trefry, and Jack Thorne, who wrote the screenplay for Enola Holmes 2, which stars Eleven herself, Millie Bobby Brown.
