The official after party for the World Premiere screening of the action comedy thriller Trouble Man takes place Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 8PM – 3PM, at Higher Ground, located inside the Arlo Wynwood Hotel in Miami, Florida. The film’s premiere takes place during the 2025 edition of the American Black Film Festival, which takes place in Miami Beach, Florida from June 11-15, 2025.

After party activities include:

• Movie Cast Panel – The cast of Trouble Man, including Michael Jai White, Orlando Jones, Method Man, Mike Epps, La La Anthony, Gillian White, Steven Shelby and more, host a discussion about the filmmaking process.
• Guest DJs – DJs on the wheels of steel are spinning smooth Afrohouse, hip-hop and late-night soul.
• Indoor & Outdoor Bars – Higher Ground is a high end bar that serves craft cocktails.
• VIP Lounge – This exclusive space features premium views of Miami.
• Art Gallery Space – The Jason Perez Art Collective present inspired visuals for the evening.

Directed by Michael Jai White, who co-write the script with Michael Stradford, Trouble Man stars White, along with Orlando Jones, Method Man, Mike Epps, La La Anthony, Gillian White, Steven Shelby, Anny Jules, Simon Shih, Deja Dee, Arnold Chon, David Dunston, Ernest Miller, Daniel Lue, Deldric Dunning, Laimarie Serrano, Mike Pu, Terrence Hodges and Shawn Wen.

Trouble Man centers on Jaxen (Michael Jai White), a former cop turned Atlanta PI, who is hired to find missing R&B star Jahari (LaLa Anthony). His investigation uncovers her disappearance is connected to a larger conspiracy, forcing him to question everything and everyone around him, along with his own past.
