To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, the final film in the Anakin Skywalker saga prequel trilogy, Episode III is re-released in select U.S. and international movie theaters on April 25, 2025, for an exclusive one week run. The screenings are available in several formats, including, for the first time, in 4DX. The 4DX experience features high-tech motion chairs that sync with more than 21 effects, all designed to complement the narrative of the film.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith begins with the Clone Wars near their end, and Obi-Wan Kenobi pursuing a new threat. At the same time, Anakin Skywalker is lured by Chancellor Palpatine into a sinister plot for galactic domination.
