The Spyscape Museum in New York City created Spyscape Studios in order to develop original content in various formats. True Spies is one the podcasts created under the banner and the show premiered on April 27, 2020 with the episode Operation Brothers. Actress Hayley Atwell tells the story of a fake diving resort that saved the lives of refugees from Ethiopia, with Mossad operative Gad Shimron. He ran roadblocks, endured arrest and interrogation, and survived a gunfight at sea, all to help Ethiopians flee Sudan. True Spies is a Cup and Nuzzle production. The series is produced by Gemma Newby, with music by Nick Ryan.
