On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Paramount Pictures broke the Guinness World Records title for the “largest shadow projection,” leading up to the theatrical release of their animated film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 that same week. The shadow projected on an exterior wall of the American Dream Mall in Rutherford, New Jersey, with a live stream shown on the first floor of Court A within the facility.
