Official Trailer and Title from Soundtrack Released for Tron: Ares

News | Jul 17, 2025

Walt Disney Pictures

Disney released the official trailer for Tron: Ares on July 17, 2025. The film is released in theaters on October 10th of the same year.

Tron: Ares follows a highly sophisticated Program called Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking mankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings. Tron: Ares is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson, and Jeff Bridges.

On the same day that the trailer was released, Grammy-award winning rock band Nine Inch Nails, the group that composed the score for Tron: Ares, dropped the track “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” — the soundtrack album’s first single and the first official music from the band in five years. The song is featured in the trailer for Tron: Ares.
