Oaks Theater Oakmont

United States > Pennsylvania > Oakmont > > 15130

The single-screen Oaks Theater opened November 18, 1938 with Adolphe Menjou and Andrea Leeds in Letter of Introduction. The Oaks is still operating as of 2023 as one of the last single-screen theaters in that area of Pennsylvania. The seating capacity was reduced from 660 to 430 after a renovation in the early 2000’s, after three friends purchased the cinema in January 2002. In addition to being an art house cinema, Oaks Theater also hosts live music and comedy events throughout the the year.
