McFarlane Toys Releases Mortal Kombat Klassic Action Figure Line

Toy and Figure Releases | Sep 8, 2025

McFarlane Toys, WB Games

On September 8, 2025, McFarlane Toys releases a set of action figures based on the original Mortal Kombat video game as part of the company’s licensing deal with WB Games and NetherRealm. The series, called Mortal Kombat Klassic, includes the characters Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and a GameStop Exclusive Kitana figure as a McFarlane Platinum Edition, along with a Walmart Exclusive Sub-Zero vs. Mileena Deluxe 2-Pack.

Each Mortal Kombat Klassic action figure is 7 inches tall and includes a variety of weapons and attachment accessories. All of the figures are showcased in Mortal Kombat Klassic-themed window box packaging and are designed with “Ultra Articulation,” which includes up to 22 moving parts, allowing for a full range of potential poses.

The action figures are released a month prior to the theatrical release of Mortal Kombat II, a film adaptation of the fighting video game series that stars Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Mehcad Brooks as Jax, among others.

Visit Throwback Space for a complete list of accessories, features and preview images for the Mortal Kombat Klassic series of action figures.
