The Academy Museum in Los Angeles hosts award-winning graphic designer and creative director Kenny Gravillis as he leads a discussion on the making of modern-day movie posters. Gravillis’ presentation will feature the process of developing movie posters for large studio films, and will include a Q&A following the presentation.
Creative director Kenny Gravillis of Gravillis Inc. has been a favorite for major Hollywood studios and filmmakers seeking thought-provoking advertising campaigns and film posters. Kenny began his career designing album collateral for groups such as Public Enemy, LL Cool J, and The Notorious B.I.G.
In 2000, Kenny launched Gravillis Inc., a boutique graphic design studio seeking to visually communicate challenging and inspiring ideas for the savvy consumer. They focused on theatrical and television campaigns and, as of 2024, are market leaders.
Spike Lee, Beyoncé, Steven Spielberg, Ryan Coogler, Common, Quentin Tarantino, LeBron James, Denis Villeneuve, Michael B.
