The Kevin Powell documentary film When We Free the World has its New York City and World in Harlem on January 15, 2025. The event takes place at First Corinthian Baptist Church at 1912 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd.

When We Free the World is a deep-dive exploration of manhood, featuring interviews with 70 male voices of various identities, from teenagers to 90-somethings, representing 5 generations. The documentary is produced by Powell, along with Evangeline Lawson, and features an original soundtrack by Vidal Davis.

The event and screening are FREE, however, on a first-come basis.
