On November 13, 2024, the Ridley Scott film Gladiator II has a royal film performance and global premiere attended by King Charles marking the first premiere he has attended as King. The event was in support of The Film and TV Charity, which is celebrating its 100th year at The Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. The event was live streamed to 30 movie theaters hosting regional premieres across The U.K.
