Fright Rags

Q: The Winged Serpent centers on NYPD detectives Shepard and Powell (played by David Carradine and Richard Roundtree respectively). The pair are working on a bizarre case of a ritualistic Aztec murder. Meanwhile, a large winged creature has been attacking the people of New York and only a greedy low-life thief named Jimmy Quinn (Michael Moriarty) knows where its lair is located.

Directed by cult favorite Larry Cohen, Q: The Winged Serpent’s cast is filled with cult cinema icons. In addition to Moriarty, Roundtree and Carradine, the film also stars Candy Clark, James Dixon, Malachy McCourt, Fred J. Scollay, Mary Louise Weller, John Capodice and Tony Page.
