Thanksgiving is a feature film based on Eli Roth’s slasher parody trailer that was created as an intermission piece, between Planet Terror and Death Proof in Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse. The “trailer” that played with Grindhouse was a tribute to slasher movies of the 1980’s.
