The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and ABC Television host the 97th Oscars on Sunday, March 2, 2025. The show airs live at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST on ABC, along with more than 200 territories worldwide from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.

Emmy Award-winning television host, writer, producer and comedian Conan O’Brien hosts the event. The hosting announcement was made in a statement by Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang. This marks the first time O’Brien has hosted the award show broadcast.
