Anthony Mackie, director George Nolfi and Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders hosted a special advanced screening of the sci-fi thriller Elevation for the Colorado Buffaloes football team at the University of Colorado in Boulder, on Monday, November 4th, 2024. Former NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneer (1995–2003) and Oakland Raider (2004–2007) Warren Sap also attended the screening event to support the film.

After the initial screening, the group then made an appearance at the local Boulder Cast and Crew screening of the film, finally capping off the day by attending the 47th Annual Denver Film Festival Elevation screening in Denver. A large portion of Elevation, which opens on Friday, November 8th, 2024, was shot in the Boulder, Colorado area.

Starring Anthony Mackie, Morena Baccarin, Maddie Hasson and Danny Boyd Jr., Elevation is set in the post-apocalyptic Rocky Mountains. Mackie plays a single father who, along with two women (Baccarin and Hasson), venture from the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures in order to save the life of Mackie’s son (Boyd Jr.).
