Trylon Cinema in Minneapolis is hosting a rarely screened, existential and misunderstood science fiction film that they describe as a forerunner to what sci-fi action films attempt to emulate today. It appears there are about a dozen 16mm prints of this film squirreled away by collectors across the country. When the Trylon attempted to rent these prints, members were told they are too rare to screen. So the Cult Film Collective acquired one of the prints. The Cult Film Collective will be splicing together some unusual trailers, commercials and animated shorts to screen prior to the film screening.
