Odessey and Oracle

Vinyl Releases | Apr 9, 1968 - Sep 26, 2025

Beechwood Park Records, CBS Records, Date Records

Odessey and Oracle is the second studio album by English rock group the Zombies. The album was originally released on April 19, 1968, by CBS Records in the UK and soon after on July 15th of the same year by Date Records in the US. The album features fan favorites “Time of the Season” and “This Will Be Our Year.”

On September 26, 2025, Beechwood Park Records releases a remastered edition of Odessey and Oracle on CD and “orchid” colored vinyl. This new edition is the first time the band’s original mono mix has appeared since the record’s original British issue and it’s the first time ever in America. The remastered release has fresh liner notes by David Fricke.

Odessey and Oracle has been named one of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and has been dubbed “a psych-pop masterpiece…decades ahead of its time” by Pitchfork.
