Tura is a documentary on the life of Asian American actress Tura Satana, most-famous for her iconic role in the Russ Meyer cult classic crime film Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!. A wild ride chronicling Satana’s brutal childhood, her career as a burlesque dancer, cult movie stardom, and the actress’s impact as a female icon and cinema pioneer.

Written and directed by Cody Jarrett, Tura is narrated by actress and comedian Margaret Cho. The film features interviews with John Waters, Dita Von Teese, Dennis Busch, Tara Moss, Eric C. Charmelo, Joshua Grannell and Nancy Wang Yuen.
