The Colonial Theatre’s perennial showcase for the gory, the gruesome, and the Grand Guignol takes place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, with the thirteenth installment of Splatterfest. The event is an all-night tribute to Italian Horror cinema at its most ferocious and transgressive. The 2025 lineup features five splatter-soaked features from Italy’s finest schlockmeisters. To preserve the grindhouse aura in which the films were originally released, all titles screen from vintage 35mm prints.

Splatterfest XIII merch is in collaboration with Garofalo Designworks. A limited number of t-shirts and additional merch will be available at the event.

Additionally, Fright-Rags provided official Friday the 13th: A New Beginning t-shirts from their collection to mark the Colonial’s 40th Anniversary screening of the film. The shirts are part of a free raffle before the screening series begins.
