Prime Video

Bosch Day was officially established on April 16, 2025, when Amazon Prime Video and the cast of the series celebrated “Bosch Day In LA” and the finale of the streaming television series Bosch: Legacy at an event in Los Angeles, California.

Michael Connelly, whose books the show was based on, and Titus Welliver, who played the titular character Harry Bosch, appeared at the ceremony, along with cast members from Bosch: Legacy and the original Bosch series, which ran on Amazon Prime from 2014 – 2021.

Bosch is an American crime television series produced by Amazon Studios and Fabrik Entertainment. The show was developed for Amazon by Eric Overmyer, and the first season is based on the Michael Connelly novels City of Bones (2002), Echo Park (2006) and The Concrete Blonde (1994). The seventh and final season of Bosch premiered on June 25, 2021.

Two spin-off sequel series have been announced. Bosch: Legacy premiered on May 6, 2022 on Amazon’s Freevee streaming service. The second spinoff follows Detective Renée Ballard, a character whom Connelly introduced in the 2017 novel The Late Show. Actress Maggie Q appeared in the final episode of Bosch: Legacy as Ballard and is scheduled to reprise her role in the spin-off series, titled Ballard, which premieres in the summer of 2025.
