Directed by Oscar-winner Questlove, the film tells the story behind the rise, reign and fadeout of one of pop music’s most influential artists. Sly Lives features interviews with Sly Stone himself, along with André 3000 (Outkast), Chaka Khan, George Clinton (Parliament/Funkadelic), D’Angelo, Q-Tip (A Tribe Called Quest), Grace Slick, music producer Clive Davis, songwriter Nile Rodgers, Living Colour founder Vernon Reid, Greg Errico, producing legends Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Ruth Copeland, Jerry Martini and Larry Graham.
