The documentary Sly Lives (aka the Burden of Black Genius) focuses on the life and legacy of funk music group Sly and the Family Stone. Directed by Oscar-winner Questlove, the film tells the story behind the rise, reign and fadeout of one of pop music’s most influential artists.
