SONY Pictures

Sony Pictures releases 28 Years Later – the third film in the “28 Days Later” trilogy – into movie theaters on June 20, 2025. Directed by Danny Boyle, 28 Years Later stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, Jodie Comer, Cillian Murphy, Jack O’Connell, Erin Kellyman, Chi Lewis-Parry and Edvin Ryding. The film is written by Alex Garland (director of Civil War) and was reportedly shot on an iPhone 15 Pro Max, making history as the largest budgeted movie ever lensed using a smartphone.
