In the film Captain America: Brave New World, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) has officially taken up the mantle of Captain America and faces multiple threats in the process, including an international incident. The movie is directed by Julius Onah, based on a script by Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), along with Matthew Orton (Moon Knight). The film also stars Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Rosa Salazar as Diamondback, Harrison Ford as Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross (Red Hulk), Giancarlo Esposito as Sidewinder, Shira Haas as Sabra, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, and Takehiro Hira as Prime Minister Ozaki, with Colby Lopez (WWE wrestler Seth Rollins) making his film debut. Tim Blake Nelson and Liv Tyler, who starred in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, reprise their roles as Samuel Sterns and Betty Ross, respectively.
