The City of Chula Vista and Create Chula Vista have announced the inaugural Chula Vista Art Fest, a community celebration that will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the City Hall courtyard, located at 276 Fourth Avenue, from 12 noon until 9 PM. This free-to-attend festival aims to showcase the diverse talent of local artists from Chula Vista and the South Bay.

The Chula Vista Art Fest will showcase an array of activities and attractions. Among the highlights are the exhibit spaces and vendor booths, where painters, sketch artists, cartoonists, photographers, ceramicists, muralists, and other creative minds will display their 2D and 3D art work. Artists with arts-related items for sale are also encouraged to apply for booth space.

Beyond the extensive art showcase, visitors can also enjoy live music performances, interactive art installations, and live painting demonstrations. An arts and crafts market will offer attendees the chance to explore unique handmade creations while indulging in a variety of dishes from food trucks stationed on-site.
