Annecy International Animation Film Festival is the world’s largest event dedicated to animation. For an entire week, the event gathers together the biggest names in the sector and celebrates creative and diverse animation styles and techniques.

The festival is a competition between animated films of various techniques including traditional, cut-outs, claymation, 3DCG and more, classified in various categories. Those categories include feature films, short films, films produced for television and advertising, student films, films made for the internet (since 2002), and feature films contrechamp in competition (since 2007).
