The event marks the first time Formula One races in Las Vegas since the 1982 Caesars Palace Grand Prix. The Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023 is scheduled to take place around the Las Vegas Strip. It will be the third Grand Prix in the United States to take place on the 2023 calendar after the Miami Grand Prix and the Formula 1 Lenovo United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. This fact makes 2023 the first time since 1982 that three Formula One races are to be held in the United States during a single season.
