Creature Kon is a celebration of horror, sci-fi and fantasy, where fans meet celebrities, hit the vendor floor, dive into interactive panels, and experience movies on the big screen. It’s a weekend of unforgettable moments and lifelong memories with a welcoming community of movie fans in Northern Ontario.
In March of 2025, Sudbury Indie Creature Kon (SICK) officially changed its name to Creature Kon. According to the event’s promoter, this change reflects the event’s continued growth and their commitment to serving horror, science fiction, fantasy and genre film fans across Northern Ontario. Alongside the name change, Creature Kon became a not-for-profit corporation.
Celebrity guests for the 2026 Creature Kon include Miko Hughes, Linnea Quigley, Ty Olsson, Maksim Blatt, Zack Ward, Lynn Lowry and Brigitte Kingsley.
