The Bride Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Digital and MP3 Releases | Mar 6, 2026

Warner Bros., WaterTower Music

WaterTower Music releases The Bride! Original Motion Picture Soundtrack March 6, 2026, in companion to the Maggie Gyllenhaal-directed film. Filmmakers brought in Swedish artist Fever Ray to collaborate and perform a musical performance in an underground night club scene during the movie. Known for their haunting vocals and themes that explore identity and sexuality, writer, director and producer, Maggie Gyllenhaal felt Fever Ray was the right choice of performer to be onstage during The Bride’s first night of freedom after her reinvigoration.

From Maggie Gyllenhaal (Academy Award-nominated writer/director of The Lost Daughter) and starring Academy Award nominee Jessie Buckley and Academy Award winner Christian Bale comes The Bride. A bold, iconoclastic take on the classic tale.

A lonely “Frank” (Bale) travels to 1930s Chicago to ask groundbreaking scientist Dr. Euphronious (five-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening) to create a companion for him. The two revive a murdered young woman and The Bride (Buckley) is born. What ensues is beyond what either of them imagined: Murder! Possession! A radical cultural movement! And outlaw lovers in a wild and combustible romance!

The Bride stars Jessie Buckley, Jake Gyllenhaal, Christian Bale, Annette Bening, John Magaro, Penélope Cruz, Peter Sarsgaard, Julianne Hough, Jeannie Berlin, Massiel Mordan and Sofía Ko. Maggie Gyllenhaal directs from her own screenplay and produces alongside Oscar nominee Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Talia Kleinhendler and Osnat Handelsman Keren. The executive producers are Carla Raij, David Webb and Courtney Kivowitz.
