General Mills teams up with Marvel Studios’ live action film Thunderbolts* to release a limited-edition Wheaties novelty cereal box featuring the main cast of the movie. An allusion to Wheaties – The Breakfast of Champions – first made its Thunderbolts* debut during the movie’s Super Bowl trailer, followed by large cereal-box-shaped standees for the film that appeared in movie theaters across the United States.

The collectible Wheaties cereal box design showcases the film’s ensemble cast of disillusioned castoffs and antiheroes who unite for a high-stakes mission. Featuring the Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* logo reimagined through a Wheaties lens, the film-inspired box does not include cereal, but fans have the option to purchase it with or without a protective acrylic case so they can display and preserve the collector’s item.

The limited edition Wheaties box inspired by Thunderbolts* is sold exclusively online at Wheaties.com starting at 11 a.m. EST on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

In Thunderbolts* Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes — Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker.
