Syndicated Bar Theater Kitchen hosting a 10th anniversary screening of the film Buzzard, followed by a round of Celluloid Trivia hosted by filmmaker Joel Potrykus. The screening coincides with the release of Potrykus’s 2025 movie Vulcanizadora.

In Buzzard, paranoia forces caustic, small-time scam artist Marty (Joshua Burge) to flee his hometown and hide out in a dangerous Detroit neighborhood. With nothing but a pocket full of bogus checks, a dangerously altered Nintendo Power Glove, and a bad temper, the horror metal slacker lashes out. Think Albert Camus meets Freddy Krueger in a hellish and hilarious take on the contemporary American experience. Written and directed by Joel Potrykus, Buzzard also stars Potrykus, along with Teri Ann Nelson, Jason Roth, Joe Anderson and Alan Longstreet.
