Mystery Science Theater 3000 takes place in the not-too-distant future, where Joel Robinson (played by show creator Joel Hodgson) is held captive by Dr. Pearl Forrester (Mary Jo Pehl) and TV’s Frank (Frank Conniff), forced to watch B-movies on the Satellite of Love with the help of his robot friends – Cambot, Gypsy, Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot. The series stars Kevin Murphy as Tom Servo, Trace Beaulieu as Crow T. Robot, Jim Mallon as Gypsy, Michael J. Nelson as Mike Nelson, Frank Conniff as TV’s Frank, Joel Hodgson as Joel Robinson, Mary Jo Pehl as Pearl Forrester, Bill Corbett as Crow T.
