Frostpunk 2 is the sequel to the highly acclaimed, BAFTA-nominated society survival game Frostpunk, which blended city building, strategy, and management gameplay. The story begins 30 years after the apocalyptic blizzard, as the age of steam has passed and oil has become humanity’s new salvation. However, with new threats on the horizon, the future of The City looks even grimmer than before.

Years of whiteouts have changed the world, wiping the slate clean. Society is still struggling for life-preserving supplies, but they slowly realize they’ve survived the worst of it. The world stands empty, ripe for the taking. People have also changed. Once they feel like they have survived the worst — and the bonding survival instinct fades — their human nature comes into play, driven by ambition that could plummet the City to its downfall.
